Have A Load Of These Totes Possible Fan Titles For ‘CMBYN’ Sequel

If your heart is still smashed to bloody smithereens after the ending to the genuinely beautiful film, Call Me by Your Name, then I’m sure you were absolutely stoked when director Luca Guadagnino blessed us with the news of a sequel. Because quite frankly, Oliver is not allowed to get married. No, NOPE.

The film about young love and heartbreak has given us many feelings thanks to the excellent acting by breakout star, Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer so fans already can’t wait for the next instalment. According to Guadagnino, we’ll be getting a 90s backdrop set in America and centring on the AIDS epidemic. The director also had hopes to film the sequel in real time meaning to wait until Chalamet is three years older to authentically convey the time passed. It would be like the Before series by Richard Linklater and though this would be very cool…give us the sequel now pls.

Word around the block is Guadagnino is currently in the script-writing process but that hasn’t stopped fans from speeding this up as they took to Twitter to share possible titles for the sequel.

And honestly, some will make you giggle…if you’ve watched the film, but why else would you be reading this?

This one’s my personal favourite.

Then, there are also the sorta Star Wars C3PO ones. I know that doesn’t make much sense but just look.

And then, ‘cos fans are predicting some jealous Oliver moments in the sequel ‘cos surely there will be, there’s this.

SHADE ALERT.

And here’s a nice synopsis of the film.

ASSIGNMENT: MIAMI PEACH.

If you haven’t watched the film, at least watch it for the peach jokes, you need it in your life. But also, you’ll never look at a peach the same ever again.
