Top Ten Supanova Cosplayers


Every nerd’s annual wet dream—Supanova—landed in Sydney this weekend, like an elaborate, traveling circus of over-hyped fans and stars that lovingly hand out autographs and pose for photographs.*

For many, the attraction of the three day pop culture festival isn’t the overpriced wares or catching a brief glimpse of Fred and George Weasley  Oliver and James Phelps; the ritual of cosplaying is taken to with fearless, utterly dedicated abandon. It’s what makes Supanova so thrilling: the atmosphere of nerds in their natural habitat; a heavenly, blissful society where dudes can dress up as a Gothic Loli while Batman and The Joker mingle in peace. No one bats an eyelid.
