Tom Holland’s Heartbreaking ‘Spider-Man’ Statement Is An Unintended Punch In The Guts

In the midst of what’s likely the toughest week of Tom Holland’s life, the IRL Spider-Man appeared at the mega Disney convention D23 today to discuss his upcoming animated flick Onward.

He was joined on stage by co-star and ex MCU stablemate Chris Pratt to discuss their fantasy based Disney Pixar animation.

Following their spiel, Holland addressed the elephant in the room:

“It’s been a crazy week,” Holland said, “but I want you to know I am grateful from the bottom of my heart and I love you 3,000.”

His tearful farewell was met with thunderous applause from the crowd who no doubt share in Holland’s disappointment, to say the least.

That being said, it’s great to know that Holland will still be part of the greater Disney family via the forthcoming Pixar flick where he plays a troll named Ian who uses a magic staff to bring his deceased father back to life… sorta.

Comedy qweens Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer also star in the flick which is set in a “suburban fantasy world.”

Onward is scheduled to be released on March 6, 2020.
