SPICY: Erika Jayne Reportedly Doesn’t Recognise Lingerie That Her Ex’s Firm Is Auctioning Off

The law firm owned by Tom Girardi, the disgraced lawyer ex of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, is auctioning off items owned by the couple amid their ongoing legal battle.

In December last year, Tom and his law firm, Girardi Keese, were sued for allegedly embezzling funds that were intended for the families of 2018 plane crash victims. He was also later sued by his business partners, and so he filed a chapter seven bankruptcy petition as well.

In order to pay back the creditors in the bankruptcy case, which is ongoing, items that belonged to the now fractured couple are being auctioned off.

According to PEOPLE, this includes merch and memorabilia from Erika’s music career that was largely funded by Tom.

A listing by Three Sixty Asset Advisors shows that a bunch of other “collectibles” are also being sold, including old magazines where she graced the cover, as well as music promo and photos.

And here’s where it gets really fucken weird: there’s a set of red lingerie that’s also being sold in the auction (who the heck would want that?) and according to insiders close to Erika, the “two separate pieces of lingerie never belonged to her, and she has no idea what the deal is,” via TMZ.

Apparently the items are too small to be Erika’s and they’re brand new tags on (the receipt is even attached), so Erika has no idea if they were intended as a gift for her or if Tom purchased them for someone else.

Other items being sold include a Cadillac, vintage books, a piano, wine, art, oriental rugs, sports and music memorabilia and furniture.

There’s also a signed poster of Julia Roberts from the movie Erin Brockovich. Tom is the lawyer who helped the IRL Erin Brockovich win her case, which inspired the iconic film.

Last year, Erika Jayne revealed she’s filing for divorce from the lawyer and shortly after the announcement, both Tom and Erika were sued for embezzlement and fraud. The lawsuit alleged that their divorce filing was “simply a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom and Erika’s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm GK.”

Earlier this year, the State Bar of California added extra charges against Tom Girardi, which reportedly included misappropriating funds (millions of dollars in client funds, to be exact).

In the midst of all this, Tom Girardi has been placed in a temporary conservatorship after being diagnosed with dementia.

According to court records obtained by PEOPLE, Tom’s ex-clients, Joseph Ruigomez, Jaime Ruigomez and Kathleen Ruigomez, are owed (USD)$11 million which they will be able to collect from the reality star, as per a 2020 litigation.

The whole shitshow is currently being documented on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with new eps dropping each Thursday on Hayu.
