Remember when Lily Allen claimed that she shared a lovely party kiss with Zoë Kravitz in her memoir and then Kravitz said that it was complete and utter bullshit, and that she was “attacked” instead? No? Well, TikTok never forgets, and the whole situation has gone viral yet again.
Back in 2018, Lily Allen released her memoir My Thoughts Exactly, which made a couple of headlines for the excerpts that detailed her affair with Oasis member Liam Gallagher and other personal details of her life.
Mostly it was just a great marketing idea that coincided with the launch of her album No Shame.
The excerpt that has gained TikTok traction again however is the one in which Allen claims she made out with the impossibly attractive Zoë Kravitz. Thing is, Kravitz tells the story in a completely different way, which she revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“If by kissing she means attacking, then yes, she kissed me,” Kravitz told Cohen.
For some reason, everyone online is only just collectively remembering the drama now, and are slamming Allen for her behaviour.
Here’s the viral TikTok vid that has people questioning their love of Lily Allen, which involves the interview.

If you were wondering exactly what Lily Allen wrote in that memoir of hers, then don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
“For my New York shows, Zoë Kravitz and her band Lolawolf supported me, so I got to know Zoë a bit,” Allen wrote.
“Later in the tour, when we were in Washington, the girls and their nanny, Jess, came out to visit me for a few days, but I had to go back to New York for a day or so for work.
“Zoë and I went out partying and ended up kissing. I heard that later that same night she’d got down with A$AP Rocky.”
And yet, as you saw in the TikTok, this isn’t how Zoë recalls the night. In fact, she even answers a question about the memoir with “who’s Lily Allen?”
