Ok so I’ll admit, I feel like I’m the absolute last person who is yet to have binge-watched Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. So I’ll be perfectly honest in saying that I have very little idea of what it means when I say that John Finlay, the ex-husband (?) of Joe Exotic (that sounds like a cartoon villain) got his teeth done last year, but claims that it just wasn’t included in the Netflix doco.
What I do know is that every time I see this photo of Mr. Exotic, my brain says “yep, that’s Warwick Capper.”
So here we go, a complete outsider’s look at this one man’s teeth.
Hey, good on you John. Getting yourself a new set of chompers is awesome, and from what I can tell it’s probably changed your attitude and self-esteem a bit. That’s great! Love that for you.
From what I can tell, John had a chat with TMZ (the ever-reliable pop culture news source) about the documentary, and how it wasn’t his idea to be shirtless the entire time, he just went along with it.
The John Finlay that people have met in the doco was one who admitted to meth use and had about three teeth in his skull (though he says that’s from a genetic issue, and not drugs). Now that everyone’s losing their god-damned minds over the show, he’s set up a Facebook account to not only show off his orthodontal glow-up, but also bring more of his own story to light.

Interestingly, John has also alleged that the producers of the docu-series definitely had footage and images of him with his new teeth in, but claimed they chose not to show that in the final cut of the series.
On his Facebook page – which is apparently actually the man himself – he’s said that he’s been in talks for interviews and his own biography, so I guess this isn’t the last we’re gonna see of John Finlay, ex-husband of Joe Exotic, Tiger King.
Ok I’m gonna have to watch this now, I’m in too deep and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface.
