If you’ve had access to internet over the past couple weeks – which you’d require to read this article, so this is great news – you may have come across a wild Tiger King conspiracy theory connecting Jeff Lowe to Carole Baskin‘s past.
A post from @MarieTweedie blew up on Twitter earlier this month, mimicking whispers on Facebook that Jeff was in fact Carole’s first husband. The post amassed over 70k likes, with the majority of users wildly backing the theory. I mean, you can’t deny that the resemblance is uncanny.

Well, yesterday, Jeff not only nipped that theory in the bud, but he took the bud, threw it on the ground and stomped it several times.
During a Reddit AMA session, he was asked about Carole. “There’s a conspiracy all over the internet this week that you were Carole Baskin’s first husband,” Reddit user CharlesBarkelly asked. “Have you seen the picture comparison and what’s your take on this? She doesn’t seem like your type!”
“You’re a brilliant man and she is not my type,” Jeff responded. “If I was stuck on a deserted island with her, I would fuck a coconut. I’ve seen the side by side pictures. It looks more like John and Joe’s love child.”
Well, that’s certainly one way to quash a rumour.
Note to self: do not leave coconuts around Jeff Lowe.
