There’s A 24-Minute Version Of The Legendary ‘Threat Level Midnight’ From ‘The Office’

After an arduous 11-year production process, the legendary lost film of Michael Scott, a former manager of a paper company in small-town Pennsylvania, is finally seeing the light of day. Thanks to the tireless work of producers of The Office – the documentary series that shot Scott and his employees to fame – we now have our very first look at the final director’s cut of Threat Level Midnight. It’s a great day for us all, folks.

The almost mythical low-budget action movie – notorious for its outrageous plot and the myriad of errors riddled throughout – is finally available online in its entirety for the very first time.

The movie, as those who followed the real life exploits of The Office will no doubt be aware, casts Scott as the federal spy/hockey great Michael Scarn, and thrusts him into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with the super-villain Goldenface, played by office salesman Jim Halpert.

The Office team uploaded the full 24-minute cut to YouTube earlier in the week, where it now resides for you to enjoy at your leisure.

A masterpiece of indie cinema. If there’s any justice in this world, it’ll cop midnight screenings at cult theatres across the globe, and Scott will be venerated in shlock filmmaking circles alongside the likes of Tommy Wiseau.
