Vin Diesel Confirms The Guardians Of The Galaxy Will, Indeed, Be In ‘Thor: Love & Thunder’

Drop whatever it is you’re doing, Marvel fans. I guarantee that the latest serving of superhero tea is FAR more important.

It’s just been announced that the heroes from Guardians of the Galaxy will be in the fourth Thor flick, Thor: Love and Thunder.

Nope, it’s not just a rumour, we have the official word from Vin Diesel, the voice of twiggy binch Groot, as he confirmed the news to Comicbook.com.

“The director talked to me about Thor will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy,” Diesel told the site. “That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”

The question of whether or not Chris Hemsworth’s Norse God character will be intertwined with the Guardians in the next flick was raised at the end of Avengers: Endgame as Thor is seen flying off with the motley crew.

“I only have two words about that character and it is ‘Alpha Groot,’” Diesel added about Guardians of the Galaxy Volume III. “I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park.”

The exciting announcement follows news last week that The Dark Knight star Christian Bale will be playing the villain in the fourth instalment of the Thor film franchise.

Tessa Thompson, who plays badass Valkyrie and the new king of Asgard following the events of Endgame, revealed that she’s read the script and there’s been “lots of excited text messages” between her and Lady Thor, Natalie Portman.

Thor: Love and Thunder is being directed by big ledge Taika Waititi in Australia and is set to be released on November 5, 2021.

As for Guardians 3, it’s still in the works with a release date yet to be announced.
