Beloved comedian Robin Williams passed away a year ago, on August 11, 2014. Since then, as we have, you’ve probably watched movies like Aladdin and Mrs Doubtfire on more than one occasion, to remember the indelible performances he gave.
As a tribute to Williams, a fan edited together a montage of his greatest hits, from Hook all the way through to Good Will Hunting, set to a moving monologue from his 1996 film Jack.
Watch it with tissues handy:
Please, don’t worry so much, because in the end none of us have very long on this earth – life is fleeting. And if you’re ever distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky when the stars are strung across the velvety night, and when a shooting star streaks through the blackness turning night into day, make a wish and think of me. Make your life spectacular. I know I did.
R.I.P. Robin Williams, 1951-2014
