Stranger Things continues to cement its place in the pop culture annals of 2016, with an unofficial Peanuts crossover animation that nobody asked for but everybody needs.
‘A Stranger Things Christmas‘ kicks off where season one ended, which if you recall was with Will Byers bailing from his family Christmas dinner to hock up Upside Down goobies into the bathroom sink.
It explores what happens next, i.e. Will-as-Charlie-Brown experiencing acute depression and anxiety from his traumatic experiences and his friends doing fuck all about it. But, y’know, told in an adorable way and with the meaning of Christmas thrown in for good measure.
Tbh, this is the only Christmas Special I need and/or want.
