This Labrador Puppy Centric Budweiser Ad Wins The Superbowl, Our Hearts

The Academy Awards of patriotic advertising – The Oscars to the Cannes Golden Lion Festival – will take place this Sunday, when millions of dollars and hours worth of advertising will be begrudgingly and intermittently interrupted by Super Bowl XLVIII
Here are a few of the industry’s most expensive and impressive ads currently making the rounds in anticipation of Sunday’s event, including the first of two submissions from Budweiser, whose Labrador/Retriever and Clydesdale centric spot has both nothing to do with beer and everything to do with the rapid influx of dust in my eyes. Cannot deal.
BUDWEISER
Puppies > Clydesdales > Hotties > A Passengers song called ‘Let Her Go’ > Beer. Sure, why not?
CHEERIOS
Sassy biracial toddler knows what’s up.
CARMAX
Future incarnation of Lutz from 30 Rock buys a new car, is slow clapped by Samwise Gamgee
CARMAX PUPPY VERSION
Same as above, except infinitely more adorable because everybody loves puppies.
JAGUAR
Tom Hiddleston tho.
DANNON OIKOS
Jon Stamos’s ploy to initiate Bloz City is foiled by the recently exhumed cast of Full House

VOLKSWAGON
Angels in America, without the cornerstone elements of Greek Tragedy and AZT.

SODASTREAM
Cheap expensive ploy to get banned, go viral works by making a dig at the event’s primary sponsor.
KIA
Morpheus does Nessun Doorman with spectacular results.
AUDI DOBERHUAHUA
Sarah McLachlan asks you over for iced tea and an intervention, because Audi has a new model.
WONDERFUL PISTACHIOS
Stephen Colbert is paid to endorse his nuts.
TOYOTA
Human Throbbing Forehead Vein, Terry Crews, gets Wolf Creek’d by The Muppets.
DORITOS
Don’t forget to vote for this Australian submission (and favourite) to win a spot during the Super Bowl. It was made by Sydney-based writer and director Tom Noakes and could earn the 27-year-old a cool one million dollars and the chance to work with Joss Whedon on the set of the next Avengers movie. It’s also gloriously good. More information here
