A media outlet from Belfast in Ireland is reporting that their favourite export, UFC fighter Conor McGregor, has nabbed himself a part on HBO drama ‘Game of Thrones‘.
INTRIGUING, BUT OKAY.
As transcribed by The Metro, The Sunday Life reports:
“It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game Of Thrones.He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game Of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan.They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”
Considering much of the GoT filming goes down in Dublin – McGregor‘s home town – it doesn’t seem completely out of the question.
In fact, it seems far more fucking likely that he’ll pop up in George R. R. Martin‘s fictional universe than appear in a ring with Floyd Mayweather.
But that’s neither here nor there. Carry on.
