There’s An Official ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Cookbook In The Works

There’s only one thing better than burgers, and that’s burgers with pun titles. That’s a straight-up fact.

To that end, the burger pun nirvana of my soul is clearly Bob’s Burgers, whose punning wits know no bounds – be it through the ever-rotating business names in the building next door to the Belcher family’s restaurant, the myriad of different pest exterminators they’ve used, or in the constantly creative Burger of the Day blackboard that takes pride of place in the humble little diner.
Those super fans among you might already be aware of The Bob’s Burger Experiment – a blog dedicated to bringing some of the more ridiculous burger pun names featured in the show to life.
Thanks to a collaboration between Cole Bowden, the genius behind the blog, and series creator Loren Bouchard, you too can soon cook up your very own Don’t You Four Cheddar ‘Bout Me burger, thanks to an officially sanction Bob’s Burgers Cookbook.

The cookbook will feature recipes created by Bowden for the blog, with illustrations provided by Bouchard. Though the product is in its early stages, the duo have signed on with a publisher to complete the project, and the book will be filled with recipes inspired by puns actually aired on the show.
Some of the recipes are a rousing success, like the Blue Is The Warmest Cheese Burger. Some are, by the creator’s own admission, not so great – like the I Know Why The Cajun Burger Sings.
But the bottom line here, kids, is you’ll be able to knock together your very own burger of the day while you sit down to smash out a few episodes in a row.
And if that ain’t worth dancing your feelings out about, nothing is.
