At its core, The Witcher is a tale of epic devotion and endless longing, an ode to the stunning bond between one man and his platinum grey locks.
And the first peek at Netflix‘s adaptation, released this morning, captures the essence of the lauded novel and video game series.
The clip is the first evidence that Henry Cavill, as Geralt of Rivia, is truly committed to that legendary mane. In barely 20 seconds, the bloke proves he can smize with the best of them while maintaining that metallic look.

There’s precious little other intel about the series. We know that Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who has worked on Daredevil, The Defenders, and Power, will produce the series, and that it will appear on your screens sometime next year. Outside of that, Netflix has kept relatively coy about the whole thing.
If anything, Cavill himself – who appears to have jettisoned out of the Superman franchise to tackle the project – has outlined the most info. And bless him for it.
Expect to see more of that hair in the upcoming months.
