Luminary science fiction film game changers, siblings Lana and Andy Wachowski, follow up their beautifully ambitious philosophical epic from last year, Cloud Atlas, with the following first trailer for Jupiter Ascending, which follows the rise of titular heroine Mila Kunis as she ascends from lowly Russian immigrant houseworker to Queen of The Universe status by virtue of a unique genetic code and a fortuitous birth, aided all the while by genetically engineered Christmas elf and reliable bodyguard Channing Tatum.
Jupiter Ascending also stars Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne and Douglas Booth, looks like an incredible visual feast and is primed for worldwide release in 3D July 25th, 2014. Your move, Star Wars.
