It is truly, unbelievably infallible. It has been confirmed that The Simpsons will continue on for two more seasons, taking us through to Season 27 and 28.
According to Entertainment Weekly, there was very little doubt that the show would continue. The Simpsons, even after nearly 26 seasons, still rates very well, especially with young men.
The Simpsons was already the longest running prime-time series of all time, and after these two seasons at 22 episodes each, the show will have completed 625 episodes. It would take you about 12 days to watch all 28 seasons in a row (but you know you kind of want to give it a go, huh?)
The Simpsons cannot die; long live the Simpsons.
