The Simpsons Are Doing Live Orchestral Shows In LA

Fans of The Simpsons AND large outdoor orchestral settings rejoice: your two passions are about to collide in one large, yellow extravaganza.
According to Rolling Stone, the veteran animated series will celebrate its 26th season by taking over LA’s Hollywood Bowl for three nights of fond reminiscing by key Simpsons players like Hank Azaria, Nancy Cartwright and creator Matt Groening.
They’ll also be joined by guest stars like Weird Al and Jon Lovitz for live performances, selected scenes from the show’s 26-year run and never-before-seen clips. The three nights will be soundtracked live by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. We’ve inspected the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra’s website, but there’s no information on what view they take of saxophone players who solo right on out the door in the middle of a performance.
The Simpsons Take The Bowl will run from September 12 to 14.
