The Office’s Gossip Girl, Kevin Malone, Launched A Podcast Ft. His Dunder Mifflin Co-Workers

Gather around the watercooler at everyone’s favourite premium paper company, because there’s a brand new podcast going through all the goss from The Office. And it’s hosted by the biggest office gossip of them all – Kevin Malone.

Yep, Brian Baumgartner (who plays Kevin, quietly the best character of the US iteration of The Office) has kicked off his own podcast, The Office Deep Dive With Brian Baumgartner. He’ll spend each episode catching up with one of his co-stars/Dunder Mifflin co-workers to reminisce about their time in The Office, share behind-the-scenes stories, and things about the show that’s probably never been shared before.

If there’s anyone we can trust to get the tea, it is this man.

The first two episodes are already out, starting at the very beginning of The Office with creator and showrunner Greg Daniels (who also worked on King Of The Hill and The Simpsons) and Rainn Wilson (aka Dwight Schrute) coming for the second episode to chat through the inner workings of The Office. And knowing Dwight, he’ll probably share a bunch of factual information about the Schrute Family Farm, too.

The Office Deep Dive is actually an in-depth version of a bunch of interviews Brian did for his last podcast, An Oral History of The Office. The earlier podcast dropped from July 2020, and was perfect lockdown content.

A bunch of the interviews that Brian did for that podcast had to get edited down so each episode wasn’t hours long, so this new podcast includes every chat raw and unedited. Instead of getting little snippets and quotes, we’ll hear the whole chat between Kevin and his former co-workers, including Steve CarrellJenna FischerJohn KrasinskiAngela Kinsey, and more.

God, I hope he gets Ed (Egg) Helms on, too.

It sounds like it’s going to be a hell of a ride, so catch me sitting in the office loo listening to this instead of doing my work (sorry boss).
