Just when you thought the prospect of a ‘Kingsman’ sequel couldn’t be more exciting, BAM – up pops the first red-band trailer to kick things into overdrive.
The sequel to Matthew Vaughn‘s 2014 spy smash sees Gary “Eggsy” Unwin – the protégé of Harry Hart (Colin Firth) – and his fellow Kingsman join forces with their American counterpart, Statesman – who pose as cowboy whiskey distillers – to save the world.
Who are they saving it from? New villain Poppy (how much do you fucking love Julianne Moore), whose plans for world domination include sugary food, drugs and killing off every last Kingsman.

The NSFW ‘The Golden Circle’ trailer gets a 10/10 from us not only because it features Channing Tatum in a cowboy hat and some poor bloke being bisected by an electrified lasso, but because it confirms Firth’s major role in the sequel, despite being shot point-blank in the eye in the first movie.

There’s no word on an Aussie release date *just* yet but it drops in American cinemas on September 22.
