‘The Jungle Book’ Teaser Trailer Promises CGI Chills And A-Listers

The first teaser trailer for the live-action, superbly cast The Jungle Book has landed, and fair warning – it is going to make you feel things.

It’s narrated by the seductively-voiced python Kaa (voiced by Scarlett Johansson), and has everything you could possibly want from a first look: Mowgli (Neel Sethi) swinging through trees…

…suitably epic shots of jungle animals running around being all wild and untamed…

…and Mowgli riding down the river on Baloo (voiced by Bill Murray). Hello, feelings, my old friend.

ICY-need catching up, The Jungle Book is based on Rudyard Kipling‘s classic tale: Mowgli is the man-cub raised by wolves, who finds himself no longer welcome when tiger Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba) – who has been attacked by humans – promises to eliminate the ‘threat’. Faced with certain death, Mowgli nopes off into jungle.

The film also features Christopher Walken‘s voice as King Louie, which is, quite frankly, a delight.

The Jungle Book hits cinemas April 2016.
