The Internet Reckons Sabine Was Robbed Of The ‘AusNTM’ Crown

Tonight, the winner of the tenth cycle of Australia’s Next Top Model was announced: 16 year-old Aleyna Fitzgerald, from Newcastle, has taken the crown, with the comp having whittled down to her and Byron Bay local Sabine Jamieson

Fitzgerald has won a humdinger of a prize package, including a 12-month modelling contract with Priscilla’s Management, an eight-page spread in ‘ELLE Magazine’, a casual Mazda, and a trip to New York during Fashion Week
My heart is quietly aching that all of this is being given to someone who is far too young to ever possibly fully appreciate it/someone who is not me, but I am sure she deserves it.
Although there were no incorrect winners announced this year (still one of the finest moments in Australian television history), the result came as a shock to some loyal viewers. Fitzgerald ultimately scored only 0.5 points more than Jamieson in their final challenge, which was a ~modern princess~ themed photoshoot for ‘ELLE Magazine’
Jamieson was expected to reign triumphant, and the Internet is pretty devo, given she was a fan fave.

At the end of the day, though, it’s no real bd because apparently Jamieson was offered a contract from Priscilla’s Management right after the finale.
So, congrats to all. Let us revel in the success of these aesthetically stunning teenagers.
