Replace the water, the fruit and the weapons with hand rolled cigarettes, Opening Ceremony blazers and vinyl copies of Remain In Light and you have Wyoma Films’ The Hipster Games, an ironic battle of attrition in which malnourished tributes from the five hipster districts of America – Portland, Austin, Brooklyn, Oakland, and Silverlake – must fight to the death with as little physical effort as possible. As hipster Effie Trinket says “It’s kind of like Battle Royale but with white people”.
