Andrew Denton’s brainchild series about television advertising The Gruen Transfer has been confirmed for a third season on the ABC with the first episode airing on Wednesday 16 June at 9pm.
With the assistance of industry experts and media commentators and host Wil Anderson, the show provides a fascinating and very entertaining insight into the way the advertising world operates through a series of segments that are, in effect, masterclasses for understanding the advertising process.
One of the segments ‘The Pitch’ sees two ad agencies face off to create a television commercial advertising an “unsellable” product.
