Machiavellian political intrigue, retaining the balance of power and a sphere of actual influence, the horror of combat and the thrill of military machinations, also boobs and dragons – all these things will finally made accessible to avid gamers for the first time once HBO’s collaboration with Telltale Games, a Game of Thrones video game, arrives like winter in 2014.
According to Mashable, the cable network are teaming up with the creators of Walking Dead and Law & Order: Legacies video games on an as yet incredible vague video game premise revealed overnight at VGX 2013.
“We’ll be taking advantage of all the fiction to make something great,” said Dan Connors, CEO of Telltale Games, following the premiere of the game’s announcement trailer, which you can watch below. “We’re just really getting into it right now and thinking about characters — who has the most at stake, who has the biggest impact on the world.”
