The Force Has Finally Awoken: ‘Star Wars’ Episode 8 Officially Has A Title

Rumours have swirled about the title of Star Wars Episode VIII for literally months now – mostly based on some nerd trawling through European patent applications by Disney.

Well, they were all wrong, and Disney’s famed paranoid security has kept this one under wraps until now. The next main Star Wars film will be named The Last Jedi. Who is the last Jedi? Is it Rey? Jedi is also a plural so there could be 100 of them. I’m mad now.
The logo for the film has also been released – at least, it could be the final logo – and it is… red. Extremely red, which we all know in the Star Wars universe means ‘real bad shit’.
People online already know this means it’ll probably be a darker one. Director Rian Johnson has already flagged that it’s going to be a bit of a different and ‘weirder’ movie than previous iterations. He did also say it was going to be ‘funny’ though.

Safe to say that people are losing their damn minds.
