With the exuberant hair metal riffs of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” for a soundtrack, Ron Burgandy (Will Ferrell) and the Channel Four news team enter the Eighties in Anchorman 2. The new decade brings with it a broadcasting svengali (Ed Helms) with a crazy plan to launch a 24-hour news channel, a relocation from the Whale’s Vagina of the West Coast (San Diego) to New York City, and romantic prospects for mentally retarded slacks fan Brick Tamland (Steve Carell).
