A Fucking Mouse Was Spotted In A Scene Of The Crown & Fans Can’t Tell If It Was Intentional

The Crown season 4 made its royal way onto our screens via Netflix yesterday and the British drama has taken the world by storm.

This season, a bunch of new characters enter the Palace to showcase a more recent chapter in royal history. There’s Prince Charles and Princess Diana, played by Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin, and their tumultuous relationship.

Then there’s the infamous Margaret Thatcher / Iron Lady, played by The X-Files star Gillian Anderson, and kooky queen Helena Bonham Carter as Queen Elizabeth’s sister Princess Margaret.

Speaking of which, a scene involving Princess Margaret is going viral online ‘cos a fan has spotted a fucking MOUSE running across the floor and as she points out in her tweet, “I don’t think it’s intentional.”

HOLY.

FUCKING.

FUCKKKKKKKKK!

People on Twitter are howling at the embarrassing blunder, although one fan reckons the creepy critter was set loose on purpose to show the “cracks” of the Monarchy.

“I think it’s intentional with some of the peeling paint etc. Monarchy ‘showing its cracks’ so to speak,” one fan wrote. Hm, interesting. It’s certainly a theory.

Season four of The Crown shows the wild, wild times of the royals up until Christmas 1990.

At that point, Margaret Thatcher’s reign of terror as Prime Minister had ended, after resigning in November that same year, and Charles and Diana were still married, despite the Prince of Wales’ best efforts.

But before we get to that, we’ve got a whole lotta chaos to dive into so buckle up, bbs, it’s gonna be one helluva season.

The Crown season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.
