The Crown Fans Are Convinced Kate Middleton Made A Sneaky Cameo In Season 4’s Australia Ep

Ahh The Crown, the only thing that makes anyone under the age of 30 give a shit about the royal family. But despite not giving a shit about the royals, I know Kate Middleton when I see her, and I’m wholeheartedly convinced that she made a cameo in this season.

I was going to add a spoiler warning but honestly, if you didn’t learn this stuff in history class, that’s a you problem, baby. The episode in question is from 1983, so you’ve had 37 years of spoiler-free life to live.

Episode 6 – Terra Nullius – is not only the episode that sees Charles and Diana head down under and visit some of our most iconic landmarks (even if they climbed Uluru *and* called it Ayers Rock – yikes), but it also might’ve had one of the most iconic cameos of all time.

In one scene, Diana can be seen mingling with a crowd of die-hard fans, but if you look closely, you’ll see it.

There it is. That’s Kate Fucking Middleton.

LOOK AT HER.

Okay, okay, I know it’s not *really* Princess Kate because she wouldn’t be caught dead appearing in the show, but good god, it looks like her.

Don’t believe me? Just take a quick look at everyone on Twitter promptly losing their shit over the similarities.

The eagle-eyed spotting comes after fans noticed a teeny tiny mouse who also made a cameo in the fourth season of the hit show. Honestly, if Stuart Little doesn’t get an Emmy for his performance in The Crown, I’m suing.

Honestly, you’ve gotta hand it to Peter Morgan for singlehandedly reviving our interest in the royal family to the point of noticing the tiniest *maybe* cameos from members that aren’t even portrayed in the show.

The actual royals should be thanking him for keeping them relevant.

The Crown is streaming now on Netflix. If you haven’t already, stop what you’re doing and watch it. Go on, get!
