The Conjuring was one of the most fun and terrifying horror movies of last year – that scene with the clothesline still makes me shudder when I think about it – and now it seems like there’s a spin-off on the way, to frighten the shit out of movie-goers all over again.
Complex report that Annabelle, the demonically-possessed doll from The Conjuring, is getting her very own movie. James Wan, the evil mastermind behind the first film, is producing, while cinematographer John Leonetti will direct.
After an exorcist was called in, Annabelle found her way into the possession of real-life paranormal detectives Ed and Lorraine Warren, who locked her in a case, where she currently resides, as she bides her time, waiting to escape and start fucking with people again.
Annabelle will be out in October of this year. Enjoy never sleeping again.
