The Block’s Tanya & Vito Have Now Apologised For Last Night’s Drama But It Still Doesn’t Add Up

The Block

After one of the spiciest dramas on The Block thus far: Schedule gate. The couple at the the centre of it all, Tanya and Vito, have taken to Instagram with a statement apologising for their part in the incident.

So what happened? Well, on a recent episode it was revealed that the show’s production schedule had been acquired by some of the cast members. This information gave those couples vital info about what rooms they’ll be building on a week-by-week basis. HUGE, right?

That schedule was found by Tanya and Vito, who are now claiming it was on display in the production office, situated right next to the toilet.

To make matters worse, Tanya, kept using the term “my truth” instead of “the truth” during the episode, which lead people to believe it was code for “I’m a big fat liar”.

The couple have since apologised for their actions on the show, but some people still aren’t buying what happened.

“On behalf of Vito and I, we would like to apologise for our role in this cheating scandal,” the couple wrote on Instagram.

“We saw an opportunity and we took it, but it wasn’t right or ok. We understand people’s anger but we hope that you will see the human side of us.

“We are still healing and real lives can be affected. We are truly grateful and will never take for granted the opportunity #TheBlock has given us. We hope to still make our family proud.”

However, fellow Block contestants Mitch and Mark have now come out and said the schedule can’t be accessed from the toilet, like Tanya and Vito previously suggested.

“It’s not true, the production schedule is inside the production office,” they told Fitzy and Wippa on Thursday morning. “You can’t get in.”

Fans of the show have provided their two-cents on The Wash’s socials, and it looks like the majority believe Mitch and Mark.

“Given they had plenty of opportunity to come clean, coupled with the fact that their story constantly changes, it’s very hard to believe a word they say now. They had demonstrated they don’t have integrity. I am not a fan,” one person wrote.

“Anyone who says the phrase “my truth” is automatically guilty. There is THE truth and that’s it,” another wrote.

God, what a mess. I just hope the contestants continue to ‘block’ out the haters.
