Following today’s news that Bachelor couple Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod had parted ways, Abbie Chatfield took to Instagram to defend herself from trolls claiming she was ‘baiting’ the newly-single Matt.

The following conversations took place on a ‘gram Abbie uploaded a few hours ago, after users began to discuss Abbie’s supposed-opportunity to patch things up with ex-Bachie following his break up.
When one user commented “Matt Agnew and Chelsie Mcleod just broke up its your chance Abbie”, the runner-up responded with a simple “no thanks!”
“I’m not allowed to use my Instagram because a couple that I have NOTHING to do with break up?” Abbie then asked, amidst further claims that she was ‘baiting’ him by posting on the ‘gram today.
“Dont wanna reel anyone in,” she added.

She then released a statement on her Instagram story, asking to be “left out of the conversation.”
“Matt and Chels are great humans and I want them to both be happy,” she concluded.
Abbie’s been the target of online trolls throughout the entirety of Matt and Chelsie’s relationship and, now that the pair have broken up, this doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon – she just can’t catch a break, can she? Good on her for standing up for herself, I say.
