The All-Female ‘Oceans 11′ Movie Is A-Happenin’ W/ Rihanna & Anne Hathaway

Well, it appears that that ‘Oceans Eleven’ reboot is actually happening, and yes – it’s a gender-reversed film. Because we know how much you guys looooooove that.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Warner Bros. are going ahead with the lady version of the famous heist film, and they already have a cast list on board.
And like the original, the chix reboot has to have a major Hollywood A-list cast, because, duh, that was kind of the whole point.
It’s been long-rumoured that Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett would be our leading ladies, and THR is confirming that they’ll be in the film.
PLUS, they’re reporting that Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna, and Awkwafina are all signed on too. WHICH IS A WEIRD LIST BUT WE’RE KEEN.
It’s rumoured to be called ‘Oceans Echo‘, and director of the OG film Steven Soderbergh is allegedly ‘deeply involved’.
It’s scheduled to begin production in October… in New York. Not Las Vegas. New York. Interesting.
