Following a series of character teasers unveiled last week that hinted as much, The ABC have this evening confirmed that Chris Lilley’s next single character series successor to the divisive Ja’mie: Private School Girl will be another Summer Heights High spin-off focused on the affable Polynesian delinquent with a penchant for drawing dicks on anything and everything, Jonah Takalua, aptly-titled Jonah From Tonga.
Confirmation came this evening at The 2014 ABC Upfronts in Sydney, where new seasons of Spicks & Specks, Rake, A Moody Christmas and a new Working Dog satire about “the absurdity of government-sponsored schemes” called Utopia have also been announced.
