The 2017 ‘Bachie’ Villain Jen Says Loves Being Hated By Everyone, Actually

Every dating reality show needs a villain, and the 2017 season of ‘The Bachelor‘ has Jennifer.

Last year we had Keira. Keira was the perfect villain. She shit-stirred, she loved herself, and she lacked self-awareness in unprecedented levels.

Jen isn’t quite there. She’s not even as into herself as Natalie, the other 2017 villain contender. But she does have the crucial personality quality of being just a huge pain in the ass.

And all that ~drama~ with the dress solidified Jen’s position as villain numero uno. [Quick recap: Jen overheard Elizabeth calling her dress “putrid”, cried about it, confronted Liz, refused to listen to Liz’s explanation that her comment was referring to the three feet of mud on the bottom of it, then spouted some crap about hating drama and it being “beneath her”.]

The good news is? Jen LOVES her position. She’s not mad at all. In fact, she’s the best person to play the villain anyway.

She told the Daily Telegraph:

“I absolutely love that I’ve been painted as a villainous character. I think while we were in the house there were three others that were in the running, but I will gladly take the name. I hope I do the show proud being this year’s Bachie villain and I hope for Australia’s sake I’m a really entertaining one.”

Fair’s fair. I was wildly entertained with the repeated shots of her during the rose ceremony, crying.

“If any of the girls were going to have to be the villain, it’s probably best that it was me because I genuinely am not going to be affected by the backlash,” she continued.

“In my real life I have the tendency to intimidate people. I’m pretty switched on and pretty intelligent, so I do tend to back myself. It’s probably just that I have a brazen personality that’s really out there. For a lot of women who aren’t as confident, that can be very confronting.”

Ding ding ding – there we have it. She’s not like the other girls. Lord help us all.
