TELL UR DAD: Jerry Seinfeld’s Touring ‘Straya For The First Time Since 1998

Hold on to your hats, folks. Jerry Seinfeld is doing a standup tour of Australia for the first time since 1998, when he came here to escape the media attention following the end of Seinfeld in May of that year. Maybe, just maybe, we’ll finally work out what the deal actually is with airline food.

The man’s a fan of Australia and our ways. Speaking to Andrew Denton in 2007 during a promotional tour for Bee Movie (remember that?) he praised our sense of humour. “All comedians that I know love Australia because of the humour in the culture … the people are funny and like to have fun and their laughter is always very near the surface”.

And yet fans haven’t seen his yuks onstage for nearly twenty bloody years. Welp. Tell your dad – because Seinfeld is back.
He’ll be playing Perth Arena on August 4, 2017; Adelaide Entertainment Centre August 5, HiSense Arena Melbourne August 6, Brisbane Entertainment Centre August 9 and ICC Sydney Theatre August 11. Grab your tix from November 14 via Ticketek.
