Taylor Swift Destroys Netflix With Savage Tweet After Airing ‘Deeply Sexist’ Joke About Her

Taylor Swift has once again proven that there’s nothing she does better than revenge after ripping into Netflix for airing a sexist, outdated and, frankly, fucking lame joke about her on their new show Ginny & Georgia.

In an episode of the coming of age series, one of the gals says to her mate: “You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.” Is that the message we wanna send to the next gen? That slut-shaming is okay? No bueno.

After the ep aired, the hashtag #RESPECTTAYLORSWIFT began trending online as her loyal legion of fans backed her by calling out the show.

Before long, our queen mother, Taylor Swift, had put her two cents in, but it’s more like putting her 10 bucks in, have a go at this:

“Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you Happy Women’s History Month I guess.”

Buuuuuurn.

Cop the tweet below:

In Taylor Swift’s iconique Netflix doco, Miss Americana, we see her devastated reaction to copping sexism from pretty much everyone (the media, her celebrity peers, even her dad, to some degree).

“I’m trying to be as educated as possible on how to respect people, on how to de-program the misogyny in my own brain,” she says in the hit Netflix doco. “Toss it out, reject it, and resist it.

“Like, there is no such thing as a slut. There is no such thing as a bitch. There is no such thing as someone who’s bossy, there’s just a boss.”

She adds: “We don’t want to be condemned for being multifaceted.”

So to go from airing that to then airing this lame-ass diss is pretty damn irritating. Good on her for calling it out!
