Taylor Swift Being Sued By Radio Host After Groping Allegation

Taylor Swift‘s squeaky-clean image has been getting a battering of late, from speculations of her ‘mean girl’ status to accusations that her ‘Wildest Dreams‘ video clip is racist.

Now she’s being sued by a Colorado radio DJ after he claims he was fired after being wrongly accused of assaulting her.

David Mueller – DJ name: Jackson – went to a meet-and-greet in June 2013 with his girlfriend and co-worker Shannon Melcher, where Swift allegedly claimed he lifted her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom.”

She complained, her management exchanged a flurry of phone calls with the radio station, and two days later he was fired as co-host of the 98.5 KYGO Ryno and Jackson morning show, where he’d worked for over 20 years and was on $150,000 a year.

The lawsuit claims the accusation of assault is “nonsense”.

“The contention that Mr Mueller lifted up Ms Swift’s skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms Swift’s photographer and Ms Swift’s highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense, particularly given that Ms Swift’s skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr Mueller’s hand in the photograph.”

Swift’s team is adamant in their position that not only did the incident take place, but they have the evidence to prove it.

The radio station was given evidence immediately after the incident,” her spokeswoman Tree Paine told CNN. “They made their independent decision.”

CNN has tried to get hold of the photograph, but no luck yet.
