Oh, BLESS.
The ‘Suicide Squad’ premiere happened this morning (last night US time), and the cast and crew walked the red carpet to the background noise of screaming DC fans and movie buffs alike.
Look how bloody lovely they all look:

One particular section of the crowd started chanting ‘Fuck Marvel! Fuck Marvel!’ because, y’know, it’s one of those iconic rivalries that people violently argue over with their mates at the pub after a few too many frothies at the pub.
David Ayer, the director of the new film, unfortunately got a little too caught up the grandness of the premiere and the novelty of the crowd screaming.
Get this – he accidentally joined in with the crowd and yelled ‘FUCK MARVEL!’ without thinking.
And the poor bugger has now had to apologise.
Sorry about getting caught up in the moment and saying f*ck Marvel. Someone said it. I echoed. Not cool. Respect for my brother filmmakers.
