Tonight’s MVP Goes To This Student Who Ditched Class By Using A Selfie As His Zoom Background

Not all heroes wear capes – some upload selfies as their Zoom background in order to ditch class and subsequently take a nap.

One such hero was outed by TikTok user @kingjuuuliann, who recently shared the moment her fellow classmate valiantly used an image of himself as his background and, put simply, vanished.

“And that’s on making a picture of yourself your zoom background,” she wrote.

It seems as though some of the other students clocked on to our guy’s slick trick, given that he, you know, didn’t move for half an hour. The professor, on the other hand, looks none the wiser. I call this a success. Check out the defiant win below.

The ‘Tok has since amassed over 250k likes and 2.5 million views, with punters taking to the comments section to applaud the student’s technological finesse. And rightly so – uploading an image of yourself during a zoom meeting is actually a great idea, especially if you have to sit through a boring class or meeting and could get away with not saying a word.

As our lives and routines change amid the coronavirus pandemic, the ways in which we slack off must adapt accordingly. And this student is testament to that.

I tip my hat to thee, sir.
