‘STRAYA, ASSEMBLE: A Huge Marvel Movie Exhibition Is Hittin’ Brissy In 2017

For far too long, the closest Australians could get to full immersion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was, you know, watching the movies – or gawking at Chris Hemsworth as he performed all manner of good deeds while filming in Brisbane.

Welp, that very same city is set to host an absolutely massive exhibition of MCU goodness, featuring costumes, props, production artwork and other ~ siq ~ behind the scenes goodies. Read: Hem-stalking is no longer necessary.
Marvel: Creating the Cinematic Universe will turn the city into rubble inhabit the Brisbane Gallery Of Modern Art from May next year, and it’ll show off artifacts from the creation of Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, the Hulk, Captain America, Ant-Man, and the Guardians Of The Galaxy.

The exhibition will draw from Marvel Studios’ own stock as well as private collections, and it’s already been slated as the first large-scale showing of Marvel goodness in a gallery setting. Breaking ground here, people – and the heroes involved definitely know a thing or two about fucking up the ground.

It’s going down from 27 May to September 3. If you’re keen to try – and subsequently fail at – lifting Mjolnir, you can pick up tix tomorrow from 10am, riiiight here.
