The world is in a bit of a bad state in 2018. We’ve got an impending nuclear war on our hands, riots breaking out in the street and I’m pretty damn sure that a rat has been showering like a human.
So it’s important to take a step back, breathe and remember what’s actually important in life. Like seeing queen of everything Adele dress up as Dolly Parton.
For some inexplicable reason, the 29-year-old singer decided to dress up as her inspo and left a super cute caption.
“The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton! We love you! We wish We could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life. I’ll always love you x,” said Adele.
Dolly hit back quickly to return the love, and tbqh this is all a bit much for a Wednesday evening.
Apparently, the pair has been admiring each other from afar for a while now. Speaking to BBC News in 2016, Dolly spoke about her love for the British singer.
“Everyone loves Adele. With all my little nieces, it’s all ‘Adele this’ and ‘Adele that!’ And I love how she does her makeup, and so I’m always saying to my little nieces, ‘Can you fix my eyes like Adele?’”
This is one celebrity friendship I am most definitely here for.
