Stephen Moyer Hints At Possible ‘True Blood’ Movie, Because Some Things Just Won’t Die

Vampire Bill has this week given very real cause to weep bloody tears of exhaustion and/or joy – depending on your feelings toward HBO’s moribund romantic comedy (?) True Blood – by suggesting that a cinematic sequel to the show’s seventh and final season is a very real possibility, because some things just won’t lie down and die.
Speaking inaudibly with Examiner.com at The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, where Stephen Moyer and his IRL missus Anna Paquin premiered a movie they co-produced together called Free Ride, it was put to Moyer to suggest a list of fun summer activities that fans of the show might fill their days with in the summer of 2015. Like drawing blood from a stone cold, dead in the ground cable TV show:
I’m not sure about the summer of 2015, but if things go the way I’m hoping there will be something to watch in the summer of 2016. We’ll have an announcement about that… soonish. I can’t talk about it yet,” said Moyer, explicitly talking about that thing he isn’t supposed to talk about yet.
When reached for comment, an HBO rep told BuzzFeed that the idea of a True Blood: The Movie in the vein of Sex & The City or Entourage is news to them: “Nothing at all to confirm”, meaning Stephen Moyer is almost certainly high on V. Meanwhile, this.
