Stephen Fry To Wed Boyfriend, Definitively Proving Existence Of Nice Things

Turns out that when you’re a public figure you just can’t keep a secret these days. British author, comedian, TV host, raconteur, and man whose smooth, silken voice narrates a good portion of my inner monologues, Stephen Fry has let slip that he’ll soon by tying the knot. React.

Fry registered to marry his comedian boyfriend, Elliott Spencer, at a register office in the town of Dereham – a place in England, which is a magical land where two people of the same sex who are madly in love with each other can legally do such a thing.
Despite wanting to keep it quiet, the old adage that good news travels fast rang true, and thus Fry confirmed the news himself via the Tweeters.

‘Course good news also travels fast to the media, who were quick to dispatch journalists to the QI hosts house, much to his bemused chagrin.

Still, the overwhelming opinion is one of “THIS IS THE CUTEST THING EVER AND TRUE LOVE EXISTS, IT EXISTS.” And thus this blessid union of souls is reason for much rejoicing. We can only imagine the happy couple are blissfully skipping down an English country road somewhere softly humming “He likes me for me” to themselves.

BLESS.
