Steady Sippin’: Recipes To Repurpose Ya Leftover Easter Choc Into Cocktails

On the odd chance you have any leftover chocolate (we’re aware those odds are extremely slim) from Easter, why not combine them with your, “I’m getting lit as fuck this long weekend” / “yolo” activities. 
Chocolate infused cocktails have been a go-to of the obscenely white girl clan for years, and with good reason. 
Alcohol = good time.
Chocolate = chocolate.
Alcohol + chocolate = may god have mercy on us all. 
To celebrate this unholy, booze-cocoa collab, we did a round-up of hella decent recipes for y’all to try out.
DEATH BY CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS
Leftover chocolate, shaved
2 scoops chocolate ice cream
1 ounce chocolate syrup
1 ounce coffee liqueur
1 ounce dark crème de cacao liqueur
1 ounce vodka
Whipped cream for topping
Maraschino cherry for garnish
1 cup crushed ice
METHOD
  1. Pour all of the ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a stemmed glass such as a hurricane glass.
  4. Top with whipped cream.
  5. Garnish with your leftover chocolate shavings and the maraschino cherry.
FERNET HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS
8 ounces milk
1 ounce heavy cream
1 ounce sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 ounces 64% dark chocolate
1 1/2 ounces 35% milk chocolate
1/4 ounce cocoa powder
3 ounces Fernet Branca
1 ounce creme de menthe
Whipped cream and marshmallow for garnish
METHOD
  1. Heat the cream, milk, sugar and salt.
  2. Pour over the chocolates and cocoa powder.
  3. Whisk all together to combine.
  4. Add the Fernet Branca and creme de menthe.
  5. Pop in the microwave to warm or steam with espresso machine.
  6. Top with marshmallow and whipped cream.
BOUNTY COCKTAIL

INGREDIENTS
Chocolate shavings
1 shot Malibu
1 tbs golden syrup/honey
3 shots of chocolate milk
METHOD
  1. Combine all ingredients (besides the chocolate shavings) and shake over ice.
  2. Serve in a tall glass.
  3. Top with chocolate shavings.
