Okay let’s get this out of the way: HOLY SHIT. JON SNOW LIVES. HE LIVES.
And to all the haters saying of course he was gonna live, and the dead should stay dead, let me remind you that this is the only happy ending George R. R. Martin has ever bloody given us, and we should be grateful like the unworthy peasants we are. Jon Snow is back. Melisandre did good. R + L = J is gonna happen. MOTHER FUKKEN’ YES.
Now that Kit Harrington has shown he was lying his fuhken’ arse off in all those post-S5 interviews, he’s finally galled up and apologised for his actions.
“Sorry!” he said, looking sheepish and cute in an exclusive EW interview. “I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But it seems like people had a – similar to the Red Wedding episode –kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing – or the show is doing – is right.”
He also said that Jon Snow had a v. v. big role to play this season.
“Yeah it’s a massive season for [Jon], it’s the biggest season for him so far,” he said. “He features very prominently in this season. I was told that – I was told when I was coming back that the season I would be coming back for would be my biggest, and that’s quite a lot to take, as well.”
