Sorry, Everyone, But ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season Six Could Be Delayed

Bad news, Game Of Thrones fans – it looks like you may need to wait a few weeks longer than normal before you can start pirating the shit out of enjoying the show’s sixth season.

The Hollywood Reporter recently published the premiere dates of key HBO shows, including Girls, which is coming back on February 21, and Martin Scorcese‘s Vinyl, which arrives on February 14.
It appears, however, that Thrones will return later than normal next year, skipping its usual late March/early April premiere date, and instead, returning to the network in late April/early May.
This means it will now be ages until you can find out what the fuck the deal is with Jon Snow, and whether or not Kit Harrington‘s hair at Wimbledon was some kind of elaborate bluff.
Many are speculating that George R.R. Martin‘s next novel, The Winds Of Winter, may actually be released before the new season premieres, which would temporarily alleviate the problem of the series being caught up to the books.
Meanwhile, at least some of your Thrones thirst will be slaked by Gwendoline Christie, who will appear in two of the year’s most excitingly-punctuated blockbusters, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
