If you are fan of ‘The Bachelor‘ or not, it doesn’t matter anymore. I am here to tell you that it is time to get on the bandwagon at some point between now and when the glorious and hilarious Sophie Monk stars on your screen as the new love-wanter in the upcoming series of ‘The Bachelorette‘ on Channel 10.
The first promo released for her season whet our appetites because it was funny, piss-taking, and allowed us to see the comedy chops of Sophie, which is what I am fangin’ for.
In the newest promo, we get to see more about what is driving Monk’s desire to be on the show. She delves deep to share information about her life, opening up completely to viewers about taking on the role.
I know i’m not the typical Bachelorette. I’m 37, i’m a massive bogan, but I really hope that Australia understands that I want to find something genuine, and they back me on this and don’t think i’m a tool, to be honest.
The promo shows Sophie walking her adorable pup, and then she opens up about her dating history, and which parts are real and which are perceived by the public.
However, things start to get really real when she talks about what she has given up in order to have the career that she has, and what kind of person she wants to find. It’s emotional, and genuine, and we can’t fkn wait to see if it happens for her. She just wants someone to love her, for her.
