Australia’s sweetheart Sophie Monk is fucking engaged to her boo of two years Joshua Gross!!! (Who clearly is anything but gross if Sophie wants to marry him.)
Sophie and Joshua posted the news to their respective Instagram accounts on Friday afternoon, and have already received a tonne of comments from people incredibly happy for the pair, like Bachie alum Tegan Martin and current I’m A Celeb contestant Jack Vidgen.
“Told you I’d tell you guys first I’m engaged. I honestly can’t thank you enough for all the love and support. I know I have the coolest people following me and you’ve always had my back and I feel so cared about,” Sophie wrote on Instagram.
“You’re absolute bloody legends. I’m not very good at being mushy. I’m trying to say I absolutely adore you.
“@joshuargross and I are so happy. Josh designed a very personal ring with my favourite Aussie designer @luke_rose_jewellery and I LOVE IT.”
Joshua shared the same image with the simple caption: “Luckiest guy in the world,” and boy, he really is.
This is big news considering Sophie’s past. In 2017, Australia got their first celebrity Bachelorette with Sophie Monk, and she did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the men DID disappoint and even though she ended up with millionaire publican Stu Laundy, they broke up less than a year later.

Sophie has been engaged four times, Benji Madden from Good Charlotte being one of her former beaus. But the Bardot singer has always spoken very candidly about her past relationships and why being in the spotlight for 20-years can make it difficult to meet people.
“When you have been in this industry for 20 years, like I have, you know when there’s a guy wanting to be with you because he wants to be famous and in the spotlight,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
Congrats Sophie, you absolute queen.
