So You Think You Can Write For Television?

Do you think you may be the voice of your generation?

Or at least a voice, of a generation?

We recently spoke with Glen Mazzara, showrunner (seasons 2 and 3) for AMC’s The Walking Dead, who is in the country to speak at The 2013 Television Writers Studio. The three day seminar is brought to you by Epiphany International Artists and boasts an excellent line-up and program that will most probably give your mind a raging b. With five international speakers, two days of lectures, an additional day in a simulated writers room, an exclusive talk by the Showrunner for a 13.5million audience show (HAAAY GLEN!), panel discussions with both international and local guests and a Pitch Slam competition offering a once-in-a-lifetime prize.

And just F your I – US instructors Jen Grisanti, Ellen Sandler, Carole Kirschner and Steve Kaplan all have a veritable dragon’s den worth of experience writing and producing Emmy award winning television series and developing series ideas for major networks, including HBO, NBC, Disney, CBS and the ABC.

As far as television writing workshops in Australia go, this is a big’un, and thanks to Epiphany we have a ticket to giveaway for both the Melbourne and Sydney events!
